Grip Size Finder!
One of the most important pieces of information you should know when purchasing a tennis racket is your grip size.
If you select a size that is to big then your racket could slip out of your hands whilst playing potentially causing damage to your frame and/or tennis court.
If you select a grip size which is far too small then you could get injured whilst playing. Common injuries are wrist problems and tennis elbow.
If you’re not sure on your grip size the best thing to do is to ask your coach for advice. If that’s not possible then try our new ‘Maurice Robinson Sports Grip Size Finder!’
Click on the image below and wait till the picture is fully loaded. If the image does not fit on screen correctly then you can print it off.
Make sure the image is full sized (Some internet browsers will shink the image to fit your screen - if in doubt simply print it off) and align the bottom of your hand on the thick black line. Which ever grip size your middle finger completely covers, then that is your estimated grip size.
Please remember that the ‘Maurice Robinson Sports Racket Finder!’ should be used as a guideline only. If you think you are between racket sizes then it is best to go for the smaller size, as it is very easy to build a grip size up with heat wraps or over grips.
